'Clean Clothes' DIY Laundry Soap

Great soap for handwash or making your own detergent!
If you don´t want to use animal fat, you can use only coconut oil, but you have to get the amount through soap calculator (e.g. here)
Superfatting is zero, because the only property needed in this soap in the cleansing one. You can also add some essential oils, but I like it this way- natural, it smells like cleanness.
Here is the recipe: 
 

               0% superfatting
             + scale
               stick blender
               container (for oils)
               container (for lye water) 
               spoon, spatula 
               silicone mould 
!Safety
Gloves, goggles, long sleeves, ventilated area. When splashing lye water or fresh soap on skin rinse the area with tapped water for 15 min.

Process:

• Weight all the ingredients

• Slowly add sodium hydroxide to the water and stir till it all dissolves. Let it cool to 30-35°C

• Melt the oil and lard and let also cool for the same temperature as the lye water is 

• Slowly add the lye water in your oils and stick blend to trace (pudding like)

• Add essential oils, stick blend once again (if you want you can add half spoon/ spoon of titanium dioxide dispersed in bit of oil- for more white soap) 

• Pour the soap into mould and let sit till next day (!as a mould I used big yoghurt plastic pot, but I don´t recommend to use it, it´s difficult to unmould, I had to cut the whole pot)

• Unmould, cut and let cure, 4 weeks is probably not necessary, but harder is better

Next week I´ll share with you the recipe for homemade detergent I´m using and how I fell in love with vinger used as fabric softener 😉

'Čisté Prádlo' Mydlo na Pranie

Perfektné mydlo na pranie v rukách aj na výrobu hobliniek na pranie!
Ak ste proti používaniu živočíšnych tukov, tak môžete použiť iba kokosový olej- pozor v tom prípade treba prerátať v kalkulačke na mydlo (napr tu)
Pretučnenie je nulové nakoľko pri mydle na pranie nám ide iba o jednu vlastnoť mydla a to čistiacu. Do receptu si tiež môžete pridať esenciálne oleje, ja ho mám však veľmi rada takto natural, vonia mi čistotou. 
Tu je recept:  

               0% pretučnenie
             + váha
               ponorný mixér
               nádoba (na oleje)
               nádoba (na roztok hydroxidu) 
               lyžica, stierka 
               silikónová forma    

!Bezpečnosť: 
Ochranné okuliare, rukavice, dlhé rukávy, vetraná miestnosť. V prípade poleptania pokožky roztokom hydroxidu alebo surovým mydlom, oplachujte postihnuté miesto aspoň 15 min pod tečúcou vodou. 

Postup:

• Odvážime si všetky suroviny. 

• Nasypeme hydroxid do vody- NIKDY NIE NAOPAK a miešame kým sa rozpustí, necháme vychladnúť na teplotu- cca 30-35℃

• Olej a masť rozpustíme a necháme tiež vychladnúť na približne rovnakú teplotu ako je roztok hydroxidu

• Roztok pomaly vlejeme do olejov, premiešame a ponorným mixérom mixujeme do stopy

• Nalejeme do formy (!neodporúčam nič plastové, ja som naliala do kelímkov z tvarohu a pekne som sa vytrápila s vyberaním)

• Na druhý deň vyberte mydlo z formy, prípadne nakrájajte a nechajte odpočívať, 4 týždne nie sú úplne nutné, no ja ho nechávam aj tak dostatočne stvrdnúť

O týždeň vám napíšem recept na gél na pranie, ktorý používam a tiež o tom ako som si zamilovala ocot namiesto aviváže 😉

'Sweet Winter' DIY Cold Process Oven Process Soap

This is my first Cold Process Oven Process (CPOP)soap which turned out really nice. The difference between CP (cold process) and CPOP is that you put the soap for 1-2 hours on low temperature in the oven to speed up the gel phase. 

This recipe is easy and except the rose petals nothing special, but I have to tell you, I looove this combination of essential oils- sweet with little citrus tones. 

               5% superfatting
             + scale
               stick blender
               container (for oils)
               container (for lye water) 
               spoon, spatula 
               silicone mould 

!Safety
Gloves, goggles, long sleeves, ventilated area. When splashing lye water or fresh soap on skin rinse the area with tapped water for 15 min.

Process:

• Weight all the ingredients

• Slowly add sodium hydroxide to the water and stir till it all dissolves. Let it cool to 30-35°C

• Melt the oils and butters and let also cool for the same temperature as the lye water is 

• Slowly add the lye water in your oils and stick blend to thin trace 

• Add essential oils, stick blend once again (if you want you can add half spoon/ spoon of titanium dioxide dispersed in bit of oil- for more white soap) 

• Pour the soap into mould (! don´t use plastic moulds or wooden glued moulds), decorate the top with rose petals (optional- it´s only for deco), if the petals or big push them slightly into the soap

• Put the soap in your preheated oven 50℃, let it on for 2 hours and then turn it off and leave the soap inside till next day

• Unmould the next day and let cure for 4 weeks before using

I made 6 bars (90-100g) of soap from this amount. I decorated half of my soaps with the petals and stamp the other half right after unmoulding.

'Sladká Zima' Mydlo Studený proces v Rúre na Pečenie

Moje prvé mydlo metódou za studena v rúre. Od klasickej metódy za studena sa odlišuje len tým, že sa na pár hodín dá do vyhriatej rúry, čím sa urýchli gélová fáza a mydlo skôr vyschne. Kým som ho však použila čakala som ako pri studenom procese aspoň 4 týždne.

Tento recept je jednoduchý a okrem lupeňov ruží na povrchu mydla ničím špeciálny, ale môžem vám povedať, že táto kombinácia vôní je úžasná- sladká s jemným citrusovým nádychom.

               5% pretučnenie

• Roztok pomaly vlejeme do olejov, premiešame a ponorným mixérom premixujeme do jemnej stopy

• Pridáme esenciálne oleje a ešte raz jemne premiešame (kto chce môže pridať polovicu lyžičky až lyžičku oxidu titančitého rozpusteného v troške oleja- mydlo bude biele) 

• Nalejeme do formy (!pozor nepoužívať plastové formy ani drevené lepené formy), povrch posypeme lupeňmi- ak sú lupeňe vačšie, jemne ich do mydla zatlačte (lupene majú iba dekoračnú funkciu) 

• Vložte do 50℃ predhriatej rúry, ja som zapnutú rúru nechala asi 2 hodiny, potom som ju úplne vypla a nechala mydlo v nej až do druhého dňa

• Na druhý deň vyberte mydlo z formy a nechajte odpočívať aspoň 4 týždne pred použitím

Toto množstvo mi vyšlo na 6 cca 90-100g mydiel. Polovicu mydielok som si ozdobila lupeňmi a druhú polovicu opečiatkovala hneď po vybratí z formy.

'Clean Face' Charcoal Clay Cleansing Soap

I´ve made this soap especially for my brother and boyfriend, which despite their not lowest age 😃 have sometimes problems with rash and oily skin. 

Charcoal cleans the pores, removes dirt and oiliness, TeaTree oil has cleansing and antiseptic properties and helps to cure acne, clay generally absorbs oiliness, removes toxins and dead skin cells...however the white clay is better for normal or dry skin, I decided to use it in this recipe to make nice contrast layers. 

I also had to try (of course😄 ) the soap on my face and the skin feels so nice soft and clean.

Here is the recipe: 
 

             5% superfatting
             + scale
               stick blender
               2 containers
               container (for lye water)     
               spoon, spatula 
               silicone mould 

!Safety
Gloves, goggles, long sleeves, ventilated area. When splashing lye water or fresh soap on skin rinse the area with tapped water for 15 min.

Process:

• Weight all the ingredients

• Slowly add sodium hydroxide to the water and stir till it all dissolves. Let it cool to 40°C (I usually use the lye water when it´s about room temperature)

• Melt the oils and butters when necessary and let also cool for the same temperature as the lye water is 

• Slowly add the lye water in your oils and stick blend to thin trace 

• Add essential oil, stick blend once again

• Split the batch into two parts, add charcoal (3 capsules are about teaspoon) to the first one and white clay and titanium dixiode (dispersed in bit of oil) to the other part, mix to medium trace (puding like)

• Pour the first layer of the soap into mould, tap the mould on the table to prevent air bubbles,add the second layer (do not tap anymore, because the layers can get mixed)

• Cover with paper or cardboard, wrap in a blanket, let sit on side and go through gel phase

• Unmould after 24-48 hours

My trace came so fast that in the end I have to spoon it 😃 which was actually advantage, because the layers didn´t mix, but I didn´t make the best lines. 
This amount is for three 100g soaps, which I cut in halves. I prefer small soaps used for face 😊
